Answer:

1. Species 8 and 9 . The genomes of these species have the highest rate of similarity out of all the compared species. 82% of the genes in these species are shared.

2. Species 1 and 5 . Th genomes of these species have the lowest rate of similarity out of all the compared species. Only 8% of the genes in these species match each other

3. When a species has a higher percentage of similarity with another species, it means that more of the DNA is shared. There has been less mutations of DNA between these species which means they are more closely related.

I'm not as confident with #3, maybe someone else can have a better answer for that

1. Species 7 and 6 because they got the highest percent in the chart

2. Species 5 and 1 because they got the lowest percentage in the chart

3. They may have been related being lived from another planet and they break out into more kinds of aliens
