'n' cannot equal -14 because the denominator would be = 0 which is not allowed.

multiply both sides of the equation by n + 14 to get

n = 5/7 ( n+ 14 ) expand

n = 5/7 n + 10

2/7 n = 10

n = 7/2 * 10 = 70 / 2 or 35

( LCD would be 7 ( n+ 14) )
