Answer:

(LP)⊥(LR)

(QR)⊥(LR)

If two lines are perpendicular to the same third then they are parallel to each other→(LP)//(QR)

Thales theorem

MR/ML=QR/LP

175/70=150/LP

LP =(150*70)/175=60

distance across the river: 60m
