Sound Energy:

- Sound energy is what you hear when something makes noise.

- It happens when things vibrate (shake back and forth), like when you pluck a guitar string.

- The vibrations create waves in the air (or other stuff like water or solids), and these waves carry the sound energy to your ears.

Wave Energy:

- Wave energy is when you have energy (power) moving in a wave-like pattern.

- There are different kinds of waves, like sound waves (for noise) and light waves (for seeing).

- Even ocean waves and ripples in space (gravitational waves) carry energy in their waves.

So, sound energy is a type of wave energy, but there are other kinds of wave energy too, like light and ocean waves.
