Help please..it is an mcq with diagram...here is the question...

Soda lime absorbs carbon dioxide. What will happen to the drop of liquid?

a) It will move towards the woodlice, as oxygen is used up and the carbon dioxide that is released is absorbed by soda lime.
b) It will move away from the woodlice as oxygen is used up but more carbon dioxide is released by woodlice
c) It will not move as oxygen is used up and the same volume of carbon dioxide is released.
d) It will not move as carbon dioxide is used up and oxygen is released.

Hi, in my opinion it is A, I may be wrong but my logic here is that the woodlice undergoes aerobic respiration so uses oxygen. The volume of oxygen decreases as a result and so does the pressure. The CO2 is absorbed by the soda lime so the CO2 gas enter the test tube and increase the pressure/volume again. The liquid hence moves towards the woodlice.

Answer:

mcq

Step-by-step explanation:

it will be C because it will not move as oxygen is used up and the same volume of carbon dioxide is released.
