Answer:

1. A myth about stress and time management is all stress is bad. I am surprised by the response of this myth because when someone states they have stress it is normally followed up by "oh well that's bad." Not all stress is bad, and even though it may seem bad at first, it can help push you.

2. One major cause of stress I can relate to is due dates. Often, as a high school student, there are certain due dates that are far from what seems possible. These dates push me to the edge, and often I fall into stressing about all my classes having something done within the next couple days.

3. I once did not realize that I was experiencing stress and poor time management when I began to lose sleep over assignments. I was so stressed about what I had to get done I would stay up worrying I won't finish on time.

4. (a) taking deep breaths. This helps because I slow myself down, giving myself a chance to relax. (b) I close my eyes. doing this allows me to stop focusing on whatever is stressing me out, and I can mainly focus on what is going on inside my head. (c) I try to clear my head. Often when I am stressed my mind is telling me things like 'you cannot do it!' or 'just fail at this point.' This type of talk isn't healthy and when I clear my head and get rid of the negative thoughts, I tend to feel better.

5. (a) I get the least important assignments done first. If I can get rid of all the small, easy assignments, then I will have more time left to take care of all the bigger projects and assignments. (b) I pace myself. Often when I need to manage time, I pace myself by only doing so much each day. If I do not do this then my mind gets cluttered and I start to lose focus of what I am doing. (c) I allow myself to take breaks. This is very important and helps me clear my head in between assignments, so then I can be fully focused for my next assignment.

6. Gumption is resourcefulness or enterprise.

Hopefully this helps you!
