We are surrounded by social norms, things that we are expected to do everyday. We wear clothes, raise our hand to ask a question, say 'please and thank you', face the door in an elevator. Choose a social norm that fascinates you and break it (safely, of course.)

Here are some examples, but feel free to come up with your own:

Say "Goodbye" when you answer your phone, and "Hello" when you hang up.

Wear your clothes backwards for a day.

Eat your food without silverware.

Say "Good Day!" to everyone you meet.

Explain what you did and how it affected you

Answer: Your welcome!

Step-by-step explanation:

Breaking the norm of saying "Goodbye" when you answer your phone, and "Hello" when you hang up was a bit strange at first. I felt awkward, but as I continued to do it, it became easier and more natural. I noticed that people I interacted with were more surprised than anything else. It made me think about how I interact with people, and how even the small things can make a difference. It was a fun experience and I'm glad I tried it.
