If I reacted 2 moles of O₂ how many moles of P4 did I react with it?

Answer:

P4 + 5O2 → P4O10

From the equation, we can see that 1 mole of P4 reacts with 5 moles of O2. Therefore, if we have 2 moles of O2, we can calculate the number of moles of P4 required:

2 moles O2 × 1 mole P4 / 5 moles O2 = 0.4 moles P4
