a, 5cm

b, 42inches

Explanation:

a, 1cm = 7inch

xcm = 35inch

cross multiplying

xcm= (35×1)/7= 35/7= 5

therefore the height of the table in the scale model is 5cm

b, 1cm = 7inch

6cm = x inch

cross multiplying

x inch= (7×6)/1= 42/1= 42

therefore the length of the table is 42inches
