5x + 10y = -5 ------------------------------(1)

-5x - y = 32 -------------------------------(2)

Add equation(1) and equation (2)

9y = 27

Divide both-side of the equation by 9

y = 3

Substitute y = 3 into equation (1) and solve for x

5x + 10(3) = -5

5x + 30 = -5

substract 30 from both-side of the equation

5x = -5 - 30

5x = -35

Divide both-side of the equation by 5

x = -7

The solution is (-7, 3)
