In a standard deck of 52 cards, there are 13 diamonds and 12 face cards (4 Queens, 4 Jacks and 4 Kings)

Note that in each type of face cards, there is 1 diamond.

So we have : 10 diamonds and 12 face cards.

The probability is :

\begin{gathered} p=(10+12)/(52)=(22)/(52) \\ p=0.423 \end{gathered}

The answer is C. 0.423
