\begin{gathered} f(x)=x^3 \\ \end{gathered}

A horizontal translation is given by:

f(x)=f(x\pm k)

In horizontal translation, each point on the graph moves k units horizontally and the graph is said to translate k units horizontally. The translation moves the graph to the left when k is a positive value and to the right when k is negative value.

Therefore:

f(x+5)=(x+5)^3

Suppose f (x) = x ^{3}. find the graph of f ( x + 5)graph 1 2 3 or 4-example-1
