You have to use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the perimeter of triangle ABC.

The heights is 6 units and the base is 5 units.

A^2 + B^2 = C^2

(6)^2 + (5)^2 = C^2

36 + 25 = C^2

61 = C^2

√(61) = C

The perimeter would be 6 + 5 +
√(61) = 11 +
√(61) units

The answer is asking for the nearest tenth so
√(61) = 7.8

P = 11 + 7.8 = 18.8 units
