Answer:

1. Laissez-faire capitalism

2. Republican

3. Automation

4. True

5. Self-determination and pride

6. True

7. Prices were cheaper in the south than they were in the north.

8. This would lead to many discoveries on the stages of the universe and how it developed.

9. Without watching the video I will just explain with my own knowledge: 1920's for America was one of the greatest times for America's rise to a world power. More people would move to America wanting to achieve something that would allow them to get rich. The most common way was inventing and profiting. America laws allowed it people to easily make a lot of money with their own inventions because of the freedom America allowed. While most countries at the time would take the inventors invention and give them a royalty for it, but the inventor never could fully profit off of it, but this was not the case for America.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. America was some of the only countries that allowed companies to expand quickly with it's superior infrastructure. However, this would later become an issue with companies eventually having monopolies.

2. The president during the time was a Republican, as well as most of the House of Representative.

3. Older industries having already a stable business were able to expand quickly with the increase of automatic machinery. Causing production outputs to increase dramatically. As well as the ability to reach every corner of American thanks to the effective railroad system America had.

4. After WW1 American corporations sought more profit, and the only way to do that is to expand out of America. One of the best examples would be the Coca-Cola company.

5. Apologies I do not know a lot about this one, so I cannot give a detailed explanation.

6. This question was vague. As no prosperity can be equally distributed, but during this time the middle class started to have the rise, and the majority of Americans could afford to buy more things. Thus the reason economic boomed. More people with money. More things to buy. More money flowing into companies to then be used to make more products.

7. The south had nearly been completed in colonizing, but there was so much undeveloped land. That states in the south were looking for a way to bring in big companies. Thus making their land, and resources cheaper allowing an expansion of companies to grow in the south. This is one of the reasons why most companies are moving to Texas. Because they have little to no taxes.

8. The scopes trial is really more on moral. During the time Charles Darwin had a theory on evolution, but most people thought his theory was crazy. Most people believed that God was the one to create the earth, so people would laugh off the theory of evolution. However, when allowing people to learn about evolution it allowed the world to expand in the knowledge of animals, and the earth.

9. Explanation given in the answer.
