Given:

Radius ( r ) = 3.5cm

Subtended angle = 30°

To find :

Perimeter of segment

Solution :

Plan : 30° = (1/ 12) × 360°

Subtended angle arc length ( S ) = (1/12) × circumference

= (1/12) × (2πr)

= 1.831 cm

Perimeter = Sector Arc Length + 2r

= 1.831 +(2× 3.5)

= 8.831 cm
