Honestly, the best way I can help you is to give you a proper way but you must know how to find each area on each shape of the triangular prism.

First, Calculate each Triangle by its area.

1/2 times base times height = surface area of triangle

Then, Calculate each Rectangle by its area.

base times height = surface area of rectangle

Once you have each area of the shape of the prism, you add all of them to get the total surface area.

2 triangles + 3 different rectangles = total surface of the triangular prism
