How does the rate law show how concentration changes affect the rate of reaction?

A rate law shows how the rate of a chemical reaction relies on a reactant concentration.

e.g. a A ===> Product, the rate low normally has the next form:

Rate = k . [A]^n (1)

k is the rate constant and n is the order of the reaction with respect to A
