Let us consider the black paint in the mixture = 7x

and white paint in the mixture = 12x

total quantity of mixture = 600ml

according to the question , black : white paint = 7 : 12

quantity of black paint =
`(7)/(19)` × 600= 221.052

quantity of white paint =
`(12)/(19)` × 600 = 378.94

{ 221.052ml black paint + 378.94 ml white paint = 599.99 ml grey paint }

Ans :- It would be 221.052 ml of black paint
