y=3x-4 (EQ.1)

y=-4x+10 ( EQ.2)

Explanation:

On comparing equation 1 and 2

3x-4= -4x+10

3x+4x= 10+4

7x=14

x= 14/7

x=2

Put x in eq 1

y=3x-4

=3(2)-4

= 6-4

=2

Hence, x=2 and y= 2
