Since the center of the circle, A is (1, 1) and the circle passes through the point (5, 1)

Then the radius of cirecle A = 5 - 1 = 4

Since the center of the circle, b is (-5, 1) and it passes through the point (-2, 1)

Then the radius of circle B = - 2 - (-5) = -2 + 5 = 3

Then the scale factor of dilation B into A is 4/3

Since the distance between the center of circles A and B = 1 - (-5) = 1+ 5 = 6

Then circle B translated 6 units to the right

The correct answer is

The transformations which map circle B into circle A are

Translation 6 units to the right, then dilated by a scale factor of 4/3

The correct answer is D
