Fernando and Risa are factoring 5x^2-x-6. They each made a chart below and selected a pair of integers. Which student is correct?

From Fernando's chart, we can see that he factored the expression as (5x - 3)(x + 2).

From Risa's chart, we can see that she factored the expression as (x - 2)(5x + 3).

Therefore, Fernando and Risa got different pairs of factors, and only one of them can be correct. We can check their work by multiplying out their factors and seeing which one gives the original expression:

(5x - 3)(x + 2) = 5x^2 + 7x - 6(x - 2)

(5x + 3) = 5x^2 - 7x - 6
