    (75)/(100)

We know this because each side of the fraction

  • 4 × 25 = 100

Now that we know this, we can convert the fraction
(75)/(100) into a percentage.

What is a percentage?

A percentage is a ratio, or a number expressed in the form of a fraction of 100. Percentages are often used to express a part of a total.

if we know that percentages are expressed as a fraction of 100, we know that
(75)/(100) is equal to %75.
