Answer: 97%

Explanation:

If for the 3 exams, the mean was 83% and the first two were 76%, that means..

76 + 76 = 152 (divided by two = 76%/current mean)

In order to get an average of 83%, Colin has to have a score that is higher than 76% and somewhat closer to above 90%.

By doing trial and error (testing different percents between 76% and 80%), you can come to the conclusion that, 76% + 76% + 97% = 249 / 3 = 83
