In the given data set, we can consider either 4 or 10 to be the outliers.

If we remove 4 the following will change:

Range: previously it was 10 - 4 = 6. Now it will be 10-7 =3.

Mean: first it was 39/5 = 7.8. Now it will be 35/4 = 8.75

If we remove 10 the following will change:

Median: The median is initially 9. When we remove the ten, it becomes a tie between 7 and 9 at position 2 and 3 respectively which = 8.

Range: previously it was 10 - 4 = 6. Now it will be 9-4 =5.

Mean: first it was 39/5 = 7.8. Now it will be 29/4 = 7.25

In both cases, the mode remains 9 as this is still the numbers that occurs the most frequently.

The median is initially 9. When we remove the four, it becomes a tie between 9 and 9 at position 2 and 3 respectively which = 9.
