Explanation:

Factors of 24 starting at 1 are:
1 x 24 = 24

2 x 12 = 24

3 x 8 = 24

4 x 6 = 24

Then the pattern repeats in decreasing orders of products of numbers . 6 x 4, 8,x 3 etc which are duplicates of the ones shown above

Factors of 24 are:

1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24

There are 8 factors

Out of the 8 factors, only two - 12 and 24 are two digit numbers

P(factor is a 2 digit number = # two-digit numbers/Total # factors

= 2/8

= 1/4

= 0.25
