a) 3√2 + 5√2 = (3 + 5) √2 = 8 √2
b) √3 x √2 = √(3 x 2) = √6
c) 3√5 x 2√7 = (3 x 2) √(5 x 7) = 6 √35
d) 8√10 - 2√2 x √5 = 8√10 - 2√(2 x 5) = 8√10 - 2√10 = 8√10 - 2√10 = (8 - 2)√10 = 6√10.
