Answer: a) 1.57 m .

b) 637.79 turns

Explanation:

a) The circumference of the wheel can be used to determine how far the vehicle has travelled after making one full turn.

Circumference = 2πr = 50π

C = 157 cm

b)By dividing the entire distance traveled by the diameter of the wheel, we can determine how many times the wheel will turn over a ride of 1 km (1000 meters): 1000 m / 1.57 m = 637.79 turns.
