Explanation:


(m^2+2m+1)(m+1)=(m^2)(m)+(m^2)(1)+(2m)(m)+(2m)(1)+(1)(m)+(1)(1)=m^3+m^2+2m^2+2m+1m+1=m^3+3m^2+3m+1

You could also use the binomial theorem because the expression is equivalent to
(m+1)^3 but either method works.
