A store buys 8 sweaters for $64 and sells them for $272. How much profit does the store make per sweater?

Explanation:

What I did first divided the 64 dollars by 8 and we get 8 . ( Save the 8 for later)

Now we divide 272 by 8 which is 34.

Now we take away 8 from 34 which is 26 because they used those 8 dollars to buy them however we take away from the profit to see its raw form.
