Two negative is Violene, poverty.

Negatives- The Europeans exploited natural African resources and paid very few wages to African labour. The Europeans introduced new culture into Africa depriving Africa of its rich culture.
Positives-the Europeans introduced a new sophisticated technology and knowledge in Africa. The Europeans used resources that were lying unused so helped keep a balance.
