27/24 = (3x - 21)/(x + 13)
9/8 = 3(x - 3)/(x + 13)
3/8 = (x - 3)/(x + 13)
8(x - 3) = 3(x + 13)
8x - 24 = 3x + 39
8x - 3x = 39 + 24
5x = 63
x = 63/5
x = 12.6
Q2
9/14 = (x + 8)/(3x - 2)
9(3x - 2) = 14(x + 8)
27x - 18 = 14x + 112
27x - 14x = 112 + 18
13x = 130
x = 10
EF = x + 8 = 10 + 8 = 18
