Answer:

The slope is -1

The y-intercept is -8

The equation is y = -x -8

Explanation:

The slope is the change in y over the change in x. As the y is decreasing by 1. The x is increasing by 1

-1/1 = -1

The slope is -1.

The y-intercept is the y value when the x value is 0. When x = 0, y = -8

The y-intercept is -8.

y = mx + b

y = -1x - 8 I don't nee the 1 so I am going to write it without it.

y = -x - 8
