1. Historical changes often affect the literature of a place. When a historical event occurs, it is common for writers to discuss it in their own text. This allows us to understand the point of view of those who lived through those experiences. Moreover, the fact that writers live through these changes means that they are often affected in ways they are unaware of. Authors might become biased and write works that talk about the new changes, either to defend them or to criticize them.
