Answer:

y = (5/2)x - (7/2)

Explanation:

–10x + 4y + 14 = 0

-14 -14

-----------------------------

-10x + 4y = -14

+10x + 10x

--------------------------------

4y = 10x - 14

÷4 ÷4 ÷4

----------------------

y = (10/4)x - (14/4)

simplified

y = (5/2)x - (7/2)

I hope this helps!

Slope intercept form is written as follows:

y=mx+b

With this information, isolate y on the left side of the provided equation:

4y=10x-14

Now, divide both sides of the equation by 4:

y=(10)/(4) x-(7)/(2)

This equation cannot be simplified anymore, and is therefore the answer!

y=(10)/(4) x-(7)/(2)
