The radius is half of the diameter;
2r=d 2 r = d.

So plug in 18m in as d.
2r=18
/2 /2
r= 9

The volume of a cylinder is v= πr^2h
Use Pi symbol in calculator unless specified to use 3.14
The height is 11m

V=πr^2h
V= π(9)^2(11)
V= π(81)(11)
V= π(891)
V= 2,799.159054348506
So, to the nearest whole number: v= 2,800 m

V= 2799.16

V=πr^2h

You have the diameter which is 2 times to radius. In order to get the radius you half the diameter which is 9.

9 to the second power is 81. Then you multiply it by the height which is 11. 81 x 11 is 891. So 891 x pi would be about 2799.16.
