Explanation:

You have to first find the slope of the given points using the slope formula. Once you get your slope you must flip the fraction (in your case the slope is -1/8) and the change the sign (in your case it would be 8 for your new slope). Once you get your perpendicular slope you enter in (9,1) into the equation y-y1=m(x-x1). So, your point slope form would be y-1=8(x-9)
