1st we make the equation like that

y=4-9x

and then replace the y with x "switch the x and y."

x=4-9y

and then make the y a lone in a side aka solve for y

9y=4-x -----> y=(4-x)/9 -----> -1/9 x +4/9

and then that's the inverse...
