Step-by-step explanation:

Hi! I don't want to give you the answer, but I will help you come up with ideas! I know that Latin roots and Greek roots are used very commonly in English and Spanish vocabulary. Over the years, Latin and Greek (and history) transformed into English today. Knowing Latin and Greek roots will definitely help in tests if you have to know certain definitions of words that you have never heard of. Knowing roots and matching them up to the words that you have to figure out the definition will make the words much easier to comprehend, especially if it is a multiple-choice question. For example, amor in Latin means love. If you know this root, you will most likely be able to know the definition of amorous (an English word originated from the Latin root amor). Hope this helps you come up with something to write!

Answer: When you see a new word that you don't know, you can try to find a root word in it and that can help you begin to find the definition.
