Answer:

1, 3, 5, 7 and 19

Explanation:

to find the first 4 terms, substitute n = 1, 2, 3, 4 into the rule, then

a₁ = 2(1) - 1 = 2 - 1 = 1

a₂ = 2(2) - 1 - 4 - 1 = 3

a₃ = 2(3) - 1 = 6 - 1 = 5

a₄ = 2(4) - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7

the first 4 terms are 1, 3, 5, 7

to find the 10th term , substitute n = 10 into the rule

a₁₀ = 2(20) - 1 = 20 - 1 = 19
