Answer is -3 slope

Step by step

Slope formula y2 - y1 over x2 - x1
Using points (-1, 4) and 3, -8)
Insert x and y values

-8 - 4 over 3 - -1
-12 over 4 = -12/4
Simplify to -3 slope
I added a graph, you can find slope by counting rise (-12 down) over run (+4 right)
