Answer: I believe so.

Step-by-step explanation: This generation is statistically the most depressed, anxious, and mentally hurt than any other generation. What people post on social media is what they want people to see about their lives which is normally upbeat and very happy. Most people don't post the sad, hard, and rough parts of their lives. Celebrities also post phots of them showing skin and looking amazing and teens tend to compare themselves and bring down their self esteem and confidence. In a 2019 study of more than 12,000 13-16-year-olds found out that using social media predicted poor mental health and well-being in teens. Other studies also have observed links between high levels of social media use and depression or anxiety symptoms.
