Problem

5(x-6)= 2 (x+3)

Solution

For this case we can distribute the terms in the equation and we got:

5x-30 = 2x+6

We can subtract 2x in both sides of the equation we got:

3x -30 =6

Now we can add 30 in both sides and we got:

3x = 30+6

x= 36/2 = 12
