I can give some tips for writing it, but you will need to read the text yourself to cite evidence properly. Start your paragraph with something like “The relationship between the Pilgrims and Native Americans changed over time throughout the (text, story, book, narrative)” and then this is where you’ll bring up a minimum of two pieces of text evidence. You’ll want to just read the text for 2 times where the Native Americans and Pilgrims had a change in relationship. Assuming this text is about Thanksgiving, we eventually became friends with the Natives, so find two pieces of evidence from your text that shows the Pilgrims and the Natives becoming friends. A example sentence would be as follows:
(don’t use this, purely for hypotheticals!)
The text states that “the Pilgrims taught the Native Americans how to fish” which shows their change in relationship, as they are not fighting each other but helping each other by sharing their knowledge.
Then simply repeat that again for your second piece of evidence, maybe something like:
The text also states that “they held a feast, which eventually became thanksgiving” which demonstrates that the relationship between the Pilgrims and the Native Americans has changed, since they used to be enemies, but are now friends, working together and celebrating together.
Again, the examples above are purely to give you a template, you’ll need to find your own quotes and explain them a little differently. Writing a paragraph or two with text evidence will become a big part of your English courses in the future, so if you still don’t understand, I highly advise speaking to your English teacher and getting more help.
