The president is in charge of the Federal Government and runs what we call the bureaucracy. These are the workings of the federal government. It is very large and covers many functions across the entire United States, from immigration at the border points at airports, seaports and land crossings, to the postal service that is available in all cities and towns in the United States. you will need to investigate 5 different agencies or departments within the Federal, state, or local government and give a brief synopsis (3 sentences or more) of those agencies or departments and what it is that they do.
