The formula for the surface area of sphere is,


\begin{gathered} S=4\pi((d)/(2))^2 \\ =\pi(d)^2 \end{gathered}

Here, d is diameter of sphere.

Determine the surface area of sphere.


\begin{gathered} S=\pi(34)^2 \\ =(22)/(7)\cdot1156 \\ =3633.142 \\ \approx3633.1 \end{gathered}

So answer is 3633.1 meter cube.
