This is basically a proportion (I think that’s the name)

3/2 = 15/x
3 x 5 is 15 so 2 x 5 is 10.

So if the player strikes out 15 times, he hits 10 times.

3/2 = x/46
2 x 23 is 46 so 3 x 23 is 69.

So he strikes out 69 times. That’s interesting.
