Answer:

Length is 52 m

Explanation:

Perimeter = L + L + W + W

= 2L +2W

W=77m

P=258m

When we plug it to a Perimeter equation now.

P= 2L + 2W

258 = 2L + 2(77)

258 - 2(77) = 2L

104 = 2L

(104)/(2) = L

52 = L

Answer:

The length would be 52m

Explanation:

We already know that the length is 77m, and since there are 4 sides, the length is equivalent on 2 sides. This leaves the 2 other sides to be the remainder, which will also be equivalent

This can be expressed as 258=77(2)+W(2) or Perimeter=2L x 2W

258=154+W(2)

Subtract 154 from both sides, working on getting w by itself

104=2W

Divide by 2

W=52, or Width=52m on each side
