Problem

We have the following inequality given:

8x +4 > 20

OR

-6x+3 >= -3

Solution

For this case we can start with the first inequality and we got:

We can subtract 4 in both sides

8x > 20-4

8x >16

And now we can divide both sides by 8

x > 2

-6x +3 >= -3

If we subtract 3 in both sides we got:

-6x >= -6

And dividing by -6 in both sides we got:

x <1

So then on interval notation we got:

(-\infty,1)U(2,\infty)
