Copernicus said that the universe is heliocentric, where the sun is the center of the universe. Hope this helps.

Nicolaus Copernicus was the first one that challenged the Aristotelian model of geocentric universe. Galileo, after and thanks to his observations with the telescope, affirmed that Copernicus was right.
