We can draw the line to help us

The whole segment is 14, and the segment TO is 3. Therefore the segment BO will be BT minus OT, then

$\begin{gathered} BT=BO+OT \\ BO=BT-OT \\ BO=14-3 \\ BO=11 \end{gathered}$

Hence the length of BO is 11
